Where Were You on 9/11?

I am blessed in that I did not lose anyone that I knew or loved during 9/11.  But the emotional effects of that day, for all Americans I believe, will live on forever.   

As a resident of Northern Virginia, the tragedies of 9/11 hit very close to home for me.  I live less than 15 minutes away from Dulles Airport, and my husband works for a company that does business at the Pentagon.  When I woke up that day to see footage of the Twin Towers aflame, I, like so many others, had no idea just how ugly the events would soon turn.
