The Offer Still Stands

I am thrilled to have had the experience to hear Elizabeth Edwards answer our questions in our meeting with her today. My thoughts are racing after the call.  I live-blogged it over on my site Mamma Loves...

The desire I am left with is to have the opportunity to ask the same questions of the other candidates. I wonder if I would be as excited about their vision for the future of our country after listening to them. If they don't accept our invitation to meet with us though, I'll never know.  All we'll be left with is this positive experience when we make our decisions about who we'll vote for on Election Day.

The Edwards campaign is not only the only campaign so far that's responded to our request for a meeting, they are the only campaign that seems to value the mommy blogging community--having extended an invitation to have some of us blog for them...at least  it is the only invitation I've received as a DC Metro Mom blogger.

I still haven't made up my mind who I'm going to vote for, but if you aren't willing to have a conversation with us Senators Obama, Clinton, Biden, Dodd or McCain, Mayor Guiliani or Governors Romney and Richardson how will we know that you deserve our vote?
