SV Fashionistas - Join the Fantasy Fashion League

With NFL Play-offs and the Superbowl coming up in the near future, many football fans are gearing up for the NFL Fantasty Leagues.  If you would rather look at designer dresses then men tackling each other for a small leather ball, then join Sarah G. & Beth B., resident SVMoms wanna-be fashionistas, in a fun fashion event online. The event is called Fantasy Fashion League and we will be playing from January 14 ,the day before the Golden Globe Awards, through February 27th (two days after the Oscars).

Fantasy Fashion League (FFL) is like fantasy football except much more fun!  We are all joining the public league as individuals on Jan. 14 , but everyone is invited to join our SVMOMS.COM Fashionistas group. Each individual selects celebrities and designers they think will get the most press each day and you collect points based on your selections. There is information on the site using websavvy or straightforward instructions. Here is a list of celebs in the game. And for those wanting even more straightforward instructions, here is some information from the FFL site:

"When you sign up to play as an individual you would purchase a Public League Card. This means you are managing your own list of designers and celebrities and your are competing game-wide, with everyone else around the world who joins as an individual. Once you join a Public League, you can start to set your Line-Up. You get a Line-Up card each day and you can make decisions based on which designers and celebrities are in the news, nominated for an upcoming awards show or on the covers of magazines. The FFL team enters points and when you log on to FantasyFashionLeague.com, you can see how your designers and celebrities do!

Award Show points will be earned from specific sources such as the E! Entertainment pre-show and InStyle.com's coverage. The official sources will be announced prior to each special event.

Award show points will be entered up to two days after the event. Here's how the points are earned:
* 10 points if a celebrity attends wearing an FFL designer's gown, tux, jewelry, shoes or handbag,
* 15 points if a presenter, host or performer attends wearing an FFL designer's gown, tux, jewelry, shoes or handbag,
* 25 points if a nominee attends wearing an FFL designer's gown, tux, jewelry, shoes or handbag,
* 50 points if a winner attends wearing an FFL designer's gown, tux, jewelry, shoes or handbag.

Celebrities also earn points for the Award Shows listed above. Here's how points are earned:   
* 10 points if a celebrity attends the ceremony,
* 15 points if a celebrity hosts the ceremony, is a presenter or a performer,
* 25 points per nomination if a celebrity is a nominee."
